🌍 For chess federations — national · state · district
Your federation. Our engine.
Their futures.
A modern national chess rating, federation-branded, $1 per player per year. We run the engine, the player dashboards, the parent reports, the tournament directory — and the audit. You keep the brand, the relationships, and the trust.

Why federations are choosing the modern shell
The world has moved on. Your federation's tooling can too — without losing what makes you, you.
The world is mobile-first
Parents check their child's rating on WhatsApp, not on a federation noticeboard. A federation that ships modern UX captures the next generation. One that doesn't, loses them.
Modern data wins parents
A monthly PDF on the federation website is no longer "transparent." Per-event rating breakdowns, confidence chips, peak-anchored floors — these are what trustworthy means in 2026.
Engineering teams are expensive
Building this in-house = 3 senior engineers × 2 years = $200K+. Renting it from 8by8verse = $1 per player per year. The math is obvious.
📦 What your federation gets — in 14 days
Everything a federation needs to run a credible 21st-century rating layer — fully managed.
Federation-branded NCR portal
Your logo, colours, sub-domain (e.g. rating.your-federation.org). Players see your federation, not ours.
NCR IDs for every player
Country-prefixed (LKA1234567, THA1234567, …). Lifetime IDs. Portable if the player moves country.
Bulk-import of FIDE-rated players
We seed your existing FIDE-rated roster on day 1 — no double-entry, no spreadsheets to manage.
Federation analytics dashboard
Active players, monthly events, rating distribution, year-on-year growth. Charts ready for your annual report.
Tournament directory
Every event you sanction, listed in one searchable, mobile-friendly directory. Players find your events faster.
WhatsApp parent reports
After every event, parents receive a beautifully formatted PDF report. No app to install. Drives federation goodwill.
Anti-cheat audit signals
Per-event rating breakdowns + confidence chips + Buchholz/SB z-scores surface unusual patterns automatically.
Peak-anchored anti-sandbag floor
USCF-style class-floor protection built into the rating engine — no player can game-down their rating.
Public confidence chips
Every profile shows 🟢 High / 🟡 Active / 🟠 Re-entering / ⚪ Dormant — at-a-glance trust signal.
Quarterly drift report
Public comparison of your federation's NCR drift vs FIDE — transparency no other rating system publishes.
Multi-language player UX
English + Hindi today; Spanish / Portuguese / Vietnamese / Bahasa on request.

📋 Federation revenue calculator
See what NCR would cost — and what you'd earn back.
Pro tier includes a 10% revenue-share on every B2C product (NCR Pro reports, Bundle, Magazine, Shop) sold to your federation's players. Calculator shows projected economics for one year.
Your annual cost
$24,000
Federation fee (Lite or Pro), billed annually. Covers everything in the included list — no per-event surcharges, no DB-size limits.
≈ ₹20,16,000 at $1 = ₹84
Your projected earn-back (Pro tier only)
$12,800
10% revenue-share on B2C upsells to your players: NCR Pro reports (~5% conversion), Bundle (~1%), Magazine (~10%), Shop (~0.5%).
≈ ₹10,75,200 at $1 = ₹84
Net annual position (Pro tier)
$11,200 net cost
For ~$1.40 per player, your federation runs a modern rating layer — every parent, every event, every report. Try doing that with an in-house team.
🛡 Trust the math · audit the engine
We've published the algorithm. We've published the weaknesses. We've published the calibration plan.
Before you sign anything, read our full algorithm audit. It compares NCR side-by-side with FIDE Elo, USCF, and German DWZ — including our own weaknesses and what we've done to fix them.
The honest line you can quote
"NCR uses USCF-style peak-anchored anti-sandbag floors, DWZ-style inactivity protection, FIDE-canonical Article 8 math, and will publish quarterly calibration drift against FIDE — which no other federation does."

❓ The questions every federation chair asks
Plain answers. No marketing-speak.
Will NCR replace FIDE for our players? +
No — and we never claim it will. NCR is a national/federation-level rating that runs alongside FIDE. International titles (GM/IM/FM) only flow through FIDE. Most of your players don't play FIDE-rated events; NCR captures those games. The two ratings live side-by-side on every player profile.
Who owns the player data? +
Your federation does. The MoU is explicit: every player record collected under your federation belongs to your federation. We process and host it on your behalf under a data-processor agreement. Exit clause gives you the full database export in 30 days.
Can our players still play FIDE-rated events? +
Yes — NCR has no exclusivity. We import FIDE-rated tournament results too, so your players see their FIDE rating + NCR rating on one dashboard.
What's the exit clause? +
On 90 days' notice, you receive: full database export (CSV + SQL dump), branding handover, redirected sub-domain for 12 months, and we publish a "now operated by [your federation]" notice. No contractual lock-in beyond paid-up annual fees.
What happens if FIDE / AICF launches their own competing rating? +
Many already have — DWZ, USCF, CFC, ECF, FFE. NCR doesn't compete on "official"; it complements on tooling. Federations like the German DSB run DWZ + FIDE in parallel without conflict. Your federation can do the same.
What's the SLA on the rating engine? +
99.5% uptime monthly on Lite, 99.9% on Pro. Per-event rating updates within 24 hours of tournament results being submitted. Quarterly drift report published within 30 days of quarter-end.
Do you charge per tournament, per game, per event? +
No. The $1/player/year (Lite) or $3/player/year (Pro) is your only fee. Run 5 events a year or 500 — the price is the same. We share your interest in growing event participation.
Can we white-label everything? Hide the 8by8verse brand? +
On Pro, yes — completely. Your federation's logo on every page, every WhatsApp report, every email. We're a quiet engine, not a billboard. Lite shows "powered by 8by8verse" in the footer only.
